About Me

I am a recent graduate from Boston College where I studied finance. I also studied abroad at the London School of Economics’ General Course. This is my public blog. I’ll occasionally post my thoughts about sports, the news, or events that I’ve attended. I may also start putting up some of my own writing (mostly satire) for everyone’s general amusement. Hope you enjoy!

What does “nocachy” mean?

When I first created my new email address in middle school, I noticed a lot of people were naming their screenname after a hobby, band, or team. I realized though that these things can change over time and your hip screenname today may be embarassing or forgotten just a few years down the line. I didn’t want to have to keep updating my email address to keep it relevant, so I decided to create my own unique identity that mocked the “catchy” screennames people were using while ensuring that people can still “get it” for years to come.

While I have created more official looking email addresses since then for work and school, the “nocachy” prefix has still come in handy on many occaisions since my real name is pretty common and it is usually already taken by others. Hence you can expect to see many more “nocachy” things for years to come.

Travel

See a map of all the countries I’ve lived and visited! How I define “visit”:

  • Spent at least one day there
  • Airports, bus stops, and highways do not count
  • “Lived” implies having a local address
